About ToysbyJohn

Hi I'm John the owner and founder of Toys by John. I have been a woodworker all my life. I started out with schooling in carpentry and cabinet making. I was a carpenter for a few years. I then decided to be a furniture and cabinet maker. For 15 years I owned and operated John's Custom Furniture based out of Brainerd, MN. I then expanded in 2004 to cabinet making and construction. Between the economy and the fact that we get older and our body's tell us we need to slow down and leave the heavy grunt work to the younger generation. I needed to make a living like everyone else. I decided to make wooden toys. I took my craftsmanship and qualities and put it into the toys. Any one who has purchased my furniture knows that I am picky and take pride in my work. You will find my toys to be well built and give your children many years of enjoyment.
